๐ Active RP | Health Service Recruitment "Excellence in Care, Integrity in Service" Welcome to the Active RP Health Service application. We are looking for dedicated clinicians to provide high-quality emergency care across the city.
Welcome to the official recruitment portal for the Active RP Health Service. As a member of the Trust, you are expected to maintain the highest standards of British medical roleplay.
No AI Assistance: The use of ChatGPT or other AI tools to generate your answers is strictly prohibited. Our system uses AI detection; if you are caught, you will be permanently blacklisted. The 48-Hour Rule: Please do not contact Gold Command regarding the status of your application. You must wait at least 48 hours after submission before inquiring with the Recruitment Team. UK Standards: We are a UK-based city. Use British terminology (A&E, Paramedic, RRV, etc.).
This section helps us understand you as a player. We are looking for mature, dedicated individuals who take serious roleplay and the Health Service's standards seriously. Answer honestly โ low effort responses will result in an automatic decline.
Provide your full Discord handle (e.g. username#0000 or new-style username) so we can contact you regarding your application.
Your full character name as it appears in-game on Active RP.
Detail any previous experience in medical roleplay, including server names, roles held, and how long you were active. If you are new to medical RP, explain what draws you to the Health Service and what you bring as a player instead.
Sell yourself. What skills, qualities, or experience set you apart from other applicants? Be specific โ generic answers will not stand out.
Discuss your dedication, teamwork, and unique RP style. Then, in the same answer, define what "Value of Life" (Fear RP) means in a medical context and how it shapes the way you play. Please answer both parts clearly.
Answer these questions entirely from your character's perspective. Show us your character's personality, background, and professional motivations. This is your opportunity to bring your character to life โ the more depth, the better.
Provide your character's full legal name exactly as it appears on their ID documents.
State your character's age and where they are from. This helps establish their background and life experience.
Tell us your character's story. Where did they grow up? What led them into medicine? Have they faced any hardship or defining moments that shaped who they are today?
Where does your character see their career heading? Are they aiming for HART (Hazardous Area Response Team), HEMS (Air Ambulance), or Senior Management? Describe their ambitions and what drives them to progress.
Why is it vital to keep radio traffic clear, concise, and professional? Explain the importance of using Clear Speech and UK-style status codes during high-pressure situations and how poor radio discipline can cost lives.
In the Health Service you will face unpredictable, high-stress situations on a daily basis. Use these scenarios to demonstrate your decision-making, prioritisation skills, and the quality of your roleplay. Write your responses as if the situation is happening in real time.
You are under direct threat. Walk us through your verbal response and how you prioritize your safety vs. the patient.
You arrive at a serious RTC (Road Traffic Collision) with three patients: one unconscious and not breathing, one conscious with a severe leg bleed, and one alert but in shock. You are the only medic on scene with backup 4 minutes away. Detail your full triage process โ who you treat first, why, and how you communicate with bystanders and incoming units.
You are dispatched to a stabbing in progress. On arrival, police have not yet secured the scene and shots are still being fired nearby. Do you enter the scene immediately or hold back? Walk us through your decision, your radio communications, and at what point you would deem it safe to treat the patient.
You are on an active call with a colleague when you notice they are clearly not taking the situation seriously โ using out-of-character language, rushing treatment, and ignoring roleplay cues from the patient. How do you handle this both in the moment and after the call? What steps would you take if it continued?
A short closing section to confirm you have read and understood the terms of this application.
