Why should we pick you over anyone else?

You intercept a vehicle after observing it being driven recklessly. During the traffic stop, the driver becomes uncooperative and refuses to provide their driver's licence or identify themselves when directed. How would you handle the situation? Explain your priorities, the steps you would take, and how you would respond if the driver continues to refuse to cooperate.

While dealing with an incident, a civilian becomes increasingly aggressive and refuses to follow lawful police directions. They are confrontational but have not become physically violent. How would you handle the situation? Explain how you would attempt to de-escalate their behaviour and what you would do if the situation continued to escalate.

While performing your duties, you witness another officer abusing their authority toward a member of the public. Their actions appear unnecessary and may constitute misconduct. What would you do? Explain whether you would intervene, your immediate priorities, and how you would appropriately document and report the officer's conduct.

You and one other officer arrive at an armed robbery in progress. At least one offender is believed to be armed, and members of the public may still be inside. You have limited information about the offenders, weapons, or potential hostages. What are your immediate priorities, and what steps would you take to safely manage the situation?

You arrive at an MVA involving two vehicles. One driver, a young person, exits their vehicle and runs down a nearby alleyway. The elderly driver of the other vehicle is hunched over the steering wheel, has significant bleeding, and their vehicle is substantially damaged. What is your priority and why? Explain the steps you would take.
