Creating a guild is your first step towards streamlined application management. In just a few minutes, you'll have a fully configured guild ready to receive applications from your community.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have:
- A Guildbase account (free to create)
- A name and description for your guild
- Optionally, a logo image (256x256px recommended)

Step 1: Open the Create Guild Modal
From your dashboard, click the "Create Guild" button in the top right corner. If this is your first guild, you'll also see a welcome prompt with a create button.
Step 2: Choose Your Guild Type
Select the type that best describes your community. This helps us provide relevant suggestions and defaults.

| Gaming Guild/Clan | Game-specific guilds, clans, and competitive teams |
| Discord Community | General Discord servers and social communities |
| Content Creator/Streamer | Streamer mod teams, content creator networks |
| Esports Team | Professional and amateur esports organisations |
| Roleplay Community | FiveM, GTA RP, and other roleplay servers |
| Study/Learning Group | Educational communities and study groups |
| Other | Anything else that doesn't fit above |
Step 3: Enter Guild Details
Fill in your guild's basic information:
- Guild Name — The display name for your guild (e.g., "Apex Legends Pro Team")
- Guild Slug — A URL-friendly identifier that will appear in your application links (e.g., "apex-pro-team")
- Description — A brief description of your community (optional but recommended)
Pro Tip
Choose a memorable slug — it will be part of all your application URLs. Keep it short and easy to type.
Step 4: Upload Your Logo (Optional)
A guild logo helps applicants identify your community. Click the upload area to select an image, or drag and drop directly.
Logo requirements:
- Recommended size: 256x256 pixels
- Supported formats: PNG, JPG, GIF
- Maximum file size: 2MB
Step 5: Create Your Guild
Click "Create Guild" to finish. You'll be redirected to your new guild's dashboard where you can continue setting up templates, workflows, and integrations.
